LifeShield Prepierced Reseal I.V. sets enable clinical staff to practice "traditional" I.V. delivery while providing needlestick prevention. Hospira has a complete line of gravity and electronic I.V. administration sets with the LifeShield Prepierced Reseal connector integrated into the set. This connector can be accessed with a LifeShield stainless steel blunt cannula, rather than a sharp needle. Secure connections between lines can be made using the LifeShield locking blunt cannula, a latex-free plastic connector.
