An Independent System:

The Hospira MedNet Software can be used as a system independent of the hospital network and information systems.

Patient safety and provider confidence is elevated through the knowledge that infusion medications are being dispensed accurately. The Hospira MedNet L Server Suite enables the maintenance of infusion device information and drug rules without a live connection to the hospital network.

Application

For smaller hospitals and healthcare facilities, the Hospira MedNet L Server Suite is the perfect choice where utilization of the IT infrastructure for device communications is not feasible.

By updating or uploading the software into infusion devices, it provides each device with a localized drug library and permits the download of the device log. This allows rules enforcement at each device and provides hospitals with information regarding device events, errors and usage.
