Medical product donations
Each year Hospira donates millions of dollars worth of medical products to humanitarian relief efforts around the globe – in support of natural disasters, health needs in developing communities and physician mission trips.
Clinician requests for product donations to support medical missions should be directed to AmeriCares.
The Hospira Foundation provides grants to charities whose missions and programs support our focus on advancing oncology education and wellness programs, and/or improving access to healthcare services.
In recognition of its 10th Anniversary and in support of our commitment to our communities, the Hospira Foundation launched (Mission: Care)2 an application-based grant program that awarded 10 organizations with grants of $10,000 each and invited the public to select one of the ten organizations to receive an additional $100,000 through a video contest and online vote.
